CRC Team now racing 951 FRO on the World Cup circuit

Mr. Kovarik work the Intense 951 FRO through a rock section in Fort William, Scotland. Chris finished 14th overall -- not bad for the first race on a new bike!
CRC/Intense team members Chris Kovarik, Claire Buchar Kovarik and Ruaridh Cunningham have started racing Intense’s latest World Cup DH race bike, the 951 FRO. Transitioning off the M6 EVO, which was the research & development platform for the 951, the CRC racers sound excited and look poised for results.

Chris spoke about his initial impressions of the 951 while testing a couple weeks before Fort William: “After a week in San Romolo, we solved a few issues and got things more dialed in. I was stoked to get a chance to try out the 951, with some further testing I’m positive it’s going to be a winning bike”. Kovarik went on to finish 14th at the Fort Bill race, his first race on the new 951 and his best result of the 2009 World Cup season.
